🎯Role Focus

We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer / CPQ Developer to lead the design and optimization of our partner's Salesforce and CPQ systems. The company is a global SaaS provider in the field service management industry, developing technology that helps service businesses manage operations and workforce execution, with a strong emphasis on contract conversions, opportunity structure, and automation.

This role will initially learn and assess the legacy system, then architect scalable solutions that encompass both Salesforce core and CPQ to reduce manual effort, streamline workflows, and modernize the platform.

📌Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and propose improvements to opportunity architecture to reduce redundancy and streamline user experience
• Build and maintain custom objects to properly track contract lineage (old vs. new agreements)
• Develop automation to support contract reboots, modifications, and conversions
• Simplify nested case workflows and reduce manual processing steps
• Partner with SalesOps and internal stakeholders to translate operational pain points into scalable system solutions
• Maintain data integrity across Salesforce core objects, CPQ, and Billing
• Collaborate closely with internal Salesforce leadership during Australian business hours.

✅ Required Experience

• 3–5+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Strong hands-on Salesforce CPQ development experience (configuration and customization)
• Proven experience in architecting solutions that encompass both Salesforce core objects and CPQ
• Experience building scalable contract lifecycle and opportunity management solutions
• Strong experience with custom objects, flows, validation rules, and Apex
• Ability to understand and modernize legacy Salesforce environments
• Comfortable working Australian business hours
