This time, we are partnering with a global leader in IT infrastructure and security management solutions for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and internal IT teams, powered by AI. Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust backend services, optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the overall architecture of our applications. This role requires expertise in both GoLang and C#, along with a strong understanding of software development best practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using GoLang and C#.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize and scale microservices and cloud-based applications.
- Implement best practices for security, performance, and maintainability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding standards.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software development.
- Work with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in GoLang and C# with experience in backend development.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with PHP and Python, with the ability to contribute as needed to legacy codebases.
- Ability to work in an agile development environment.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development using GoLang and C# or other Object-Oriented Language.
- Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments.
- Prior experience working with distributed systems and high-availability applications a plus.
